Life is a school, in which you can receive an education of a wide variety of knowledge, wisdom, and training in practical experiences. There are valuable lessons in the school of life through hard knocks and rigid disciplines that God wants to teach us. The author was encouraged to write down his story so his grandchildren and great-children would remember him. His story begins in 1943 and continues to this day—from being born into an Amish family, to joining the Mennonite Church, to getting married and having children, to serving as a Missionary—including his triumphs as well as his heartaches.
