This edition of the Daily Gazette and Bulletin covers the centennial of Williamsport in 1901. It begins with a history of the newspaper, including brief sketches of a number of men instrumental in its operation over the years. Additional articles cover the city of Williamsport, Lycoming County, Camp Susquehanna and various militias of the area. A number of important local institutions and businesses are also sketched. The remainder of the publication is dozens of biographical / business sketches of Williamsport's important and influential citizens. There are numerous photographs and illustrations throughout showing important buildings or scenes of the city. Most of the citizen sketches are also accompanied by a portrait of the sketch subject.
